We are recruiting editors, animators and videographers with an interest in creating the structure and beautiful visuals that bring a story to life. This role is open to applicants with basic or advanced expertise. Compensation is based on experience. 

Candidates interested in remote contractor and project based work who have limited experience can expect a starting salary of $20/hour with the possibility of advancement into a more involved position.

Candidates with a portfolio of work and experience in animations, story structure, color grading, audio mastering, retention editing and building a synergistic creative relationship can expect compensation on a project basis starting at $60/hour or apply for a full time position. 

All team members receive annual bonuses based on show impact and financial performance. 

Skills candidates should have or expect to learn 

• Davinci Resolve, Davinci Resolve Fusion, Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro 

• Color Grading

• Podcast Audio Mastering  

• Basic Videography and Audio Capture Skills 

• Photoshop or similar software (for thumbnail creation)

Available tasks for a team member in this role (you are not required to perform all tasks below. You will only be expected to perform tasks within your area of expertise or interest) 

• Video editing 

  • Basic color grading 

  • Basic audio mastering 

  • Collaborating with content team to add story structure and increase retention in editing

  • Adding b-roll, transitions, music and SFX

  • Animations/graphics creation 

• Video Production Management (in person only) 

  • Assisting with studio setup 

  • Basic camera settings 

  • Basic shot composition and camera operation 

  • Ensure all equipment is recording and that there are no malfunctions 

  • Filming additional content for trailers and promotional materials

  • Taking BTS photos and videos
